It’s been an interesting few weeks. Coming off the heels of the Relic Meyers & The Harmony of Hexes release, I’ve been sheduling book shows and signings including the following Barnes & Noble appearances in Indiana:
I’ll also be sticking around in Lafayette, IN on the 12th to attend another Mosey Down Main Street. I may or may not have copies of my unreleased book (see below), but don’t quote me…shipping is unreliable!
I’m also ecstatic to announce that I’ve been offered an author table at GenCon’s Author’s Avenue!
GenCon is the biggest and most exciting tabletop game convention in the world, and given my history in games, it’s such a dream come true to be able to showcase my books there. Come hang out with and my brother, Adam, at the Indianapolis Convention Center July 31st - August 3rd.
Why’s Adam going to be there hanging out with me?
Well, I’m glad you asked. Back when I was stuck on the couch with a broken leg earlier this year, Adam and I revisited some old shows we loved and chatted about them while playing XBox. After binging several viewings of True Detective season one (some of the best TV ever made), we got to talking about a concept that we thought would make a fun story.
So…
While I had planned on starting book 3 of The Malice of Light right after finishing Relic Meyers & The Harmony of Hexes, I took a little detour and visited a place called Ransom Creek.
Introducing, my first co-authored novel (and Adam’s debut release), Ransom Creek Remains! Read the end of this update if you want to read the book NOW for FREE!
[From the back of the book]
When a girl vanishes after a party in the quiet town of Ransom Creek, Detectives Avery and Rane uncover secrets buried since 1974. As a killer resurfaces in 1995 and the past claws into the present, the two must navigate lies, politics, and a decades-old cover-up before the truth claims another victim.
Ransom Creek Remains is the thrilling debut novel written by twin brother game design & writing duo Adam & Brady J. Sadler. Equal parts buddy-cop tension, small town mystery, and supernatural intrigue, this twisting case will be sure to appeal to more than one of your vices.
